Just updated the multimedia page with a brand new, bandcamp-driven audio player that includes all of our releases.  Pretty sweet, right?  Yea.  The first of many improvements… expect a whole new website this year.

2011 was a hell of a year… definitely the busiest we’ve been in years.  Thanks so much to everyone who stuck with us.  Last night was an awesome end to our year as we got to rip shit up with our buds Choke Up and Ramming Speed.  2012 is going to be a busy year… we’re taking (sort of) a break from shows for a little while so we can write a new (long overdue) album.  We’ve started writing already and we’re stoked as fuck on the direction the new material is going.  Not sure the specifics of how anything will be released, but we’ll post more about the new shit as it comes along.

2012 (specifically April) marks our 10-year anniversary, so expect some surprises to celebrate.  It’s also the 10-year anniversary of Tor Johnson Records, who we’ve been working with pretty much since we started, so congratulations to Paul/Tor Johnson for being one hardest working dudes/labels in hardcore around here and continuing to put out great music.  We’ll be playing the TJR 10th Anniversary show on May 12th… I’m not giving any details away now, but believe me when I tell you this is one show you really do not want to miss!

So once again, thanks for the support, and we look forward to new tunes, new releases, bunches of shows, and continuing to venture out of New England here and there to rip other cities up.  Happy New Year fuckers!

Just returned from our weekend in NY with Furnace.  Had a great time, and that’s just a taste of what’s to come in November.  We’ll be hitting the east coast with Furnace for 11 days.  The dates are posted in the ‘shows’ section, only info for one right now but I’ll be updating that soon with more.  Aside from that, we’re going to be writing material for a new record throughout this fall and winter.

Take care, friends, and check back soon for more tour info.

The new Now Denial / Get Laid split 7″ is finally in, you can check out the whole package below.  You can order from Get Young Records, and it will also be available in the Now Denial webstore in a couple of days.  Of course you can grab one at a show also, we’ll have them for the shows in July.  Speaking of which, in case you hadn’t heard, we’ll be playing with Harvey Milk in Allston, MA on July 11th.  See you there.

The Now Denial / Get Laid split 7″ will be out on June 21st.  It’s a limited run of 300 records, on your choice of red, clear, or black vinyl.  We’ll have ‘em up in our webstore soon, so check back for an update on that, or “like” us on Facebook to get the news.  Right now you can pre-order the 7″ from Get Young Records, and the first 20 orders come with a hand-made flyer book.

We’ve got a handful of shows booked and a bunch in the works for the Summer, so we’ll be around, come to a show.

“Fuck Now Denial” is now available on vinyl, you can order it on our BandCamp page.  It’s a 12″ EP, pressed at 45rpm.  Hand-numbered, and limited to 300 copies total on three different colors.  201 on orange marble, 52 on translucent green (ND exclusive), 47 on light gray marble (TJR exclusive).  We’ll also have it at all our upcoming shows.  Though if you get it in the webstore, all of our other releases are on sale for really cheap prices for a limited time.  Get on it.

The upcoming split 7″ with Get Laid was mastered last week at New Alliance East.  The artwork is being finished tonight, and the layout should be finished in a few days.  Look for that to be out very soon.  We’ll post some tunes from that soon as well.

I’ve just launched a brand new Now Denial webstore, which will henceforth be located at Store.NowDenial.net.  With every purchase, you get an immediate digital download of the record in pretty much any digital format you can imagine.  There are also some bonuses on there… the digital download of our first 7″, Brothers Not Fighting, is remastered from the original mixdown and includes a bonus track that wasn’t included on the record.  There’s a free download of our recent live performance on Record Hospital as well.  That set has one of the new jams that’ll be on the split 7″ with Get Laid, as well as a couple of covers.  Keep checking back there, and you might find some other surprises throughout the winter.

We’re back at it finally, and with good news to boot.  Shows, new releases, etc… but I’ll get to that stuff.  So we took a little break after our last show in July so that I could get hand surgery, then Dino went on tour to Germany drumming in Furnace.  In the meantime I was finishing up recording vocals in Adam and my other band, Lonesome Republic.  Adam was also busy with his other band, Bar Sinister.  And Jared started a new band called Comanche, for whom I just recorded a demo, and you should definitely go check it out.  Anyway, my surgery went well, and I’m all healed up.  Dino is back from rocking out and drinking beers in Germany.

We’ve got some good shows coming up, including a radio appearance on WHRB 95.3 (based in Cambridge, MA) tonight at 10pm.  If you’re not in the Greater Boston area, you can also stream it online here.  Back in July we recorded the music for two new jams for a split 7″ with Get Laid.  Soon we’ll be laying down the vocals for those songs, and I’ll also be recording a few Get Laid songs for their side of the split.  Our good friend Andre Hester is working on the artwork for this release, and it’s going to be released on Get Young Records.  More updates to come on progress with that.  We’re also planning a 12″ vinyl release of Fuck Now Denial for this winter, on Tor Johnson Records.  Over the winter, we’ll be writing more new material for a split with our Baltimore pals, Dawn Treader, then working on a new album.

So that was a lot of shit.  Soak that in for a while and I’ll post again when there’s more to say.

Over the weekend, we tracked all of the instruments for two new songs.  We’ll be recording the vocals in the near future.  You’ll be able to hear them eventually on a split 7″ with Get Laid.

We’ll be playing this Friday at Harper’s Ferry with Coliseum, Disappearer, Burning Love, and Phantom Glue.  This will be our last show before we take a break for a couple months.  In late July and August, Jarrod will be having surgeries on both hands for carpal tunnel syndrome.   Also, from mid-September to early October, Dino will on a European tour with Furnace.  In the meantime, the new songs will be mixed and mastered, and we’ll be making plans for the fall/winter.  Come check out an awesome show this Friday, we’re probably going to throw one of the new jams into the set.  Get advance tickets here: http://www.venuevents.net/event/980

We’ve got some good shows coming up in the next couple of months. We’ll be playing two nights in a row (w/ Furnace & Livver) at the House of Blues Frontroom, after the GWAR show on 6/20 and after the Danzig show on 6/21. Both of those HoB Frontroom shows are FREE! We’ll also be playing Harper’s Ferry with Coliseum, Disappearer, and others on July 9th. Tickets to that show are $10 in advance / $12 at the door.

We’ve been working on new material, and we’ve got two new songs we’ll be recording in July for a split 7″. After July, we’ll have a little Now Denial downtime as Jarrod will be having hand surgery, and Dino will be touring Europe with Furnace. In that downtime, the new songs will get mixed and mastered. Lonesome Republic (feat. Adam and Jarrod) will be mixing and mastering their new recordings at that point as well, and Mechane (feat. Jared) will be recording in late July.

The new EP, “Fuck Now Denial”, is also now for sale as a digital download. So if you’d rather spend a few bucks for mp3s instead of a few more bucks for a CD, now’s your chance. Get ‘em in the merch section.
