Over the weekend, we tracked all of the instruments for two new songs.  We’ll be recording the vocals in the near future.  You’ll be able to hear them eventually on a split 7″ with Get Laid.

We’ll be playing this Friday at Harper’s Ferry with Coliseum, Disappearer, Burning Love, and Phantom Glue.  This will be our last show before we take a break for a couple months.  In late July and August, Jarrod will be having surgeries on both hands for carpal tunnel syndrome.   Also, from mid-September to early October, Dino will on a European tour with Furnace.  In the meantime, the new songs will be mixed and mastered, and we’ll be making plans for the fall/winter.  Come check out an awesome show this Friday, we’re probably going to throw one of the new jams into the set.  Get advance tickets here: http://www.venuevents.net/event/980

We’ve got some good shows coming up in the next couple of months. We’ll be playing two nights in a row (w/ Furnace & Livver) at the House of Blues Frontroom, after the GWAR show on 6/20 and after the Danzig show on 6/21. Both of those HoB Frontroom shows are FREE! We’ll also be playing Harper’s Ferry with Coliseum, Disappearer, and others on July 9th. Tickets to that show are $10 in advance / $12 at the door.

We’ve been working on new material, and we’ve got two new songs we’ll be recording in July for a split 7″. After July, we’ll have a little Now Denial downtime as Jarrod will be having hand surgery, and Dino will be touring Europe with Furnace. In that downtime, the new songs will get mixed and mastered. Lonesome Republic (feat. Adam and Jarrod) will be mixing and mastering their new recordings at that point as well, and Mechane (feat. Jared) will be recording in late July.

The new EP, “Fuck Now Denial”, is also now for sale as a digital download. So if you’d rather spend a few bucks for mp3s instead of a few more bucks for a CD, now’s your chance. Get ‘em in the merch section.

The “Fuck Now Denial” record-release show was last night, and it was a great time.  And now you can buy the new CDep in the merch section.  They’re hand-numbered and limited to 250 copies.  Go get one!  More news and shows coming soon.

I just added some photos from the show in Allston this past Sunday to the multimedia section.  Thanks to Aaron @ Return to the Pit for sharing those.  We’re getting the packaging ready for the new EP.  It’s called “Fuck Now Denial” and we did a limited run of 250 CDs, with the help of Witch Trial Records.  The record release show will be March 28th at O’Brien’s Pub in Allston, so make sure to come out to that, we’ll probably throw in free shit like pins, patches, and 7″s when you buy the new CD.

Aside from that, we’ve been working on new tunes as well.  Planning on doing a split 7″ with our good pals Get Laid at some point this year.  So we’ll probably be recording for that in a couple months.  Shit’s going awesome.  That’s all for now friends.  I’ll post the new EP for sale in the webstore as soon as it’s available, so check back in a couple weeks.

There are a couple of new songs up in the multimedia section — “Epic Fail” and “Burn On”.  Both of which will be on a forthcoming EP.  We had wanted to do a 10″ vinyl release for the five songs we recently recorded.  However, without a label involved right now, we’re planning on releasing ourselves, as a limited run of CD’s.  Hopefully it will see a vinyl release as well at some point in the not-so-distant future.

We’ve got Facemelter (CD and vinyl) on sale in the webstore for this month only.  It’s cheap and any order placed this month will also have some other shit thrown in, probably even a free 7″.  Get on it.

Anyway, we’ve got other plans for more writing and recording over the winter.  As well as more shows on the horizon.  Right now we’ve got one show coming up at the end of the month in Allston.  Come out and say hi.  Until next time, get awesome, friends.

I’ve put some pictures and videos from last weekend’s Wadzilla show up on the multimedia page.  That show was awesome.  Thanks to Robert Noack (dyinghorse.com) and Dan Gonyea (future-breed.com) for those videos and pictures, respectively.

Also, I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it here before, but Adam and I have been involved in a group called Spiral Collective in the Lowell, MA area.  Anyway, we have a zine called Columns.  The third issue is coming out tomorrow, and you can read it online or find copies in various downtown Lowell establishments.

The final Wadzilla show this past Friday night was fucking awesome!  And well-documented apparently, you can check out just how awesome it was by seeing videos of all the bands’ sets, and pictures as well.  I’ll post stuff to the website soon, but in the meantime, check it all out at these links:

Unfortunately the basement show scheduled for this coming Saturday in Lowell was canceled.  But Friday in Allston is still on, and it’s the last Wadzilla show… should be a really fun show, so fuck whatever you thought you were doing and come to the show.

We spent ten hours mixing our new recordings with Dan G. this past Saturday.  Things are sounding very nice, and moving along swiftly.  These songs should make their way to your ears soon.

In other news, we’ve given in a little further to the world of social networking, and gotten ourselves a Facebook page.  So, if you’re on Facebook, be our friend!  We’re not annoying, and we don’t usually smell bad or anything.  You probably want to be our friend.  We like you.  A lot.

We’ve finished tracking five new songs with Dan Gonzalez in Allston.  Mixing and mastering will happen soon, then we’ll be putting out a couple of split vinyl releases.  More info on that once plans are more solidified.  And I’ll post new tunes once they’re mastered as well.

We have three shows booked right now… and they’re ALL basement/house shows!  Awesome, right?  I think so.  One in Lowell, one in Dover NH, and the final Wadzilla show in Allston.  They’ll all be pretty awesome shows, so you should probably cancel any other plans you have.  Also, in the spirit of most basement shows, to keep the pigs away, I won’t be posting the address.  But just get in touch and I’ll give you the address to any/all of the shows.

On that note, we like playing shows, and if you’re booking a show and you like us, do get in touch.  It would be pretty sweet to play other places in New England for a change.

Anyway, that’s all for now.  Keep on keepin’ on.  You’ll hear from us very soon.

Facemelter is now available at Interpunk and Vinyl Collective.  It should be available at All That Is Heavy sometime in the near future as well.  Though you can always just buy it in our webstore of course.  Also, you can get all Now Denial vinyl for only $20, including shipping!  Just check out the webstore, that deal won’t be up for too long.

Anyway, we’re just tightening up all of our new material, and planning to go into the studio in mid-July to record it.  We probably won’t be playing a lot of shows until after we record, there’s one being set up now for July but that’ll probably be all.  Then we’ll be playing around more after that.  After which we’ll probably try to take over the world.
